This week at preschool all of the children have been looking at dinosaurs. They have: used exploratory play with the dinosaurs, wooden blocks and hay; made crafty dinosaurs with paper plates, cotton buds and shapes; and helped their very own dinosaur eggs to hatch out.

In our morning sessions the children also created salt dough fossils and built a papier-maiche volcano, then experimented to watch it explode! You can see pictures of these activities and others from this Spring term in our photo gallery.

Our letter sound this week has been ‘t’ – thank you to all parents/carers that have been spending time at home talking/thinking about these sounds and helping the children complete their sound books or bring items to school in the special box.

Next week: Celebrating Books with Pancake day on Tuesday 5th March and World Book Day on Thursday 7th March (children can come to preschool dressed as their favourite book character).
