There has been so much happening at preschool this week with Easter activities, special surprises being made, science experiments and the arrival of our tadpoles!!

We started Monday morning with an amazing science session, thanks to Lucy from ‘Genie Lab Science’. There were flames, smoke and of course slime involved, which kept the children and adults mesmerised. Take a look at your tapestry accounts to see images and videos from the morning.

We then welcomed our tadpoles to preschool on Tuesday and talked about the lifecycle of a frog.  The children were interested to see the frogspawn and tadpoles, but are excited to see what happens to them next.

Our Easter activities then took over from Wednesday with all of the children taking part in craft and cooking activities. They especially enjoyed the Easter egg hunt around preschool and making the chocolate nests. Thank you to all of our morning parents that helped children to make an Easter bonnet and join in with our parade. They all looked fantastic and were very proud to wear the bonnets  around preschool.

We ended the term on Friday morning with some Easter fund and games. The children took part in egg and spoon races, catch the egg (or splat goes the egg), and a chocolate bar hunt. There were some egg casualties and lots of laughter!

Next week: Preschool is now closed for Easter until Tuesday 23rd April, when we look forward to welcoming all of our children back to preschool.
